Fun for casual gaming but supremely frustrating if you're serious about climbing the ranks to Infinity. You can go on a crazy win streak followed by a crazier losing streak. The song "Build Me Up Buttercup" pretty much summarises what I feel about this game.

As a Marvel fan, I find it fun to see characters I've never seen before in the comics but use often in the game. I then read up on them on Marvel Unlimited which makes both game and comic services complementary of each other.

However, after 2-3 months of seriously playing this game, the frustration is real. I just am very suspect at the matchmaking algorithm, both when I'm on winning and losing streaks. It feels like there's a hidden hand behind players' decks that match up specific builds to tailor to either a winning or losing outcome for players. I may be wrong but that's what i feel.

TLDR; play this for fun and ONLY when missions are available. Don't bother with seriously climbing the ranks. The frustration is not worth it.

This game is very simple and can be learned by anyone. For a mobile game, you need to invest lots of time to get cards.

This is not cross-platform so you can only play with those on the same device. Hoping for cross-play to be a thing in the future. Other than that, the microtransactions don't really seem to give the player an advantage, but only help the player unlock cards much

Nonetheless, the game is super simple and easy to learn but hard to master.

Marvel Snap offers tons of content for its price and doesn't fail to entertain even though it's still in early stages of its release.

It's an irresistible way to spend two minutes. [Issue#379, p.122]
