A hybrid of The Room and Amnesia that looks great thanks to Unreal Engine and offers a surprisingly realistic physics model. [10/2014, p.69]

A jumble of gore and old ideas, Hellraid: The Escape is entertaining when it's at its best, and enjoyable when it's not.

Hellraid: The Escape provides some fairly satisfying puzzling, and the idea that you shouldn’t have to kill enemies, but rather outsmart them, is a welcome change of pace.

Escaping traps and outsmarting monsters – Hellraid delivers solid entertainment but is too easy and too short.

As a puzzle game in its own right it's mildly diverting, but doesn't hold up against the platform's best in any real way.
