Hellraid: The Escape

Hellraid: The Escape is a must have iOS title that you will thoroughly enjoy in more ways than one.

It may be be acting as a prelude to the bigger Hellraid game but The Escape holds its own very well and is highly recommended.

Hellraid: The Escape is the latest game developed by Shortbreak Studios. The app is characterized by a fearful atmosphere, an addictive gameplay and very simple controls. Also thanks to some great visuals, Hellraid The Escape is a great game for your iOS device.

For a mobile title the visuals are quite stunning, on par with some console and PC games that I’ve come across. Each dungeon is intricately detailed with macabre little items, like blood splatter, skeletons twisted in agony and grotesque monsters. It makes me all the more sadder that we may never see more of this twisted universe given that Techland has shelved plans for the console experience.

Graphics are great and puzzles are varied enough to keep you entertained until the credits roll, which unfortunately happens way too soon.

It's a case of brains over brawn in puzzler Hellraid: The Escape, as players take down demonic foes using only their ingenuity and the environment itself.

Superb and well designed first person exploration and puzzle solving adventure. A great approach for the upcoming Hellraid game.

Soaked in undead atmosphere, Hellraid: The Escape is a morbid adventure puzzler that isn't for those of a sensitive disposition.

It may not be the best puzzle game out there, but Hellraid: The Escape has a great atmosphere, some interesting puzzles and a style that is truly unique.

Hellraid: The Escape provides some fairly satisfying puzzling, and the idea that you shouldn’t have to kill enemies, but rather outsmart them, is a welcome change of pace.

Escaping traps and outsmarting monsters – Hellraid delivers solid entertainment but is too easy and too short.

It was mundane and unimaginative, technically competent but entirely unengaging – not disastrous but disappointing, both as a dungeon crawl and a puzzler.
