GRIS is a visually arresting experience, but otherwise not particularly memorable.

Art is subjective, but Gris for me has some of the best visuals in a game, playing it on my phone, it felt like I was scrolling throughArt is subjective, but Gris for me has some of the best visuals in a game, playing it on my phone, it felt like I was scrolling through exquisite paintings.

The gameplay on the other hand felt like it was not adding anything. I really think that sometimes it was actually taking me away from the experience.

Gris is an emotional journey through the grieving process of a broken woman trying to find her way back and accept her fate. The art style,Gris is an emotional journey through the grieving process of a broken woman trying to find her way back and accept her fate. The art style, the music, the sound design. It all fits within the theme. Plying the game feels relaxing as the player cruises trough the different stages. New gameplay mechanics are introduced until the last levels and it plays smoothly on (in my case) a tablet. In later, larger levels, it took a while to find exactly where you had to go to make progress. This sometimes took you out of the experience. At the end it is an amazing game for a small price.

    Pros:
    - Artstyle
    - Soundtrack/design
    - Smooth Gameplay

    Cons:
    - Lager levels are a maze sometimes

Gris is a breathtakingly beautiful game with an average story and unexciting gameplay. It just feels lost potential.
