This is a fantastically colorful game. Although I’m not a fan of the old platforming, everyone should play this game. A colorful game with a good history for 2-3 hours.

This is a pure art-game. Don't expect deep mechanics or advanced gameplay.
Gris was a really lovely adventure. The art-style is so beautiful and the animations are also great. Soundtrack is fantastic.

Gris is an emotional journey through the grieving process of a broken woman trying to find her way back and accept her fate. The art style, the music, the sound design. It all fits within the theme. Plying the game feels relaxing as the player cruises trough the different stages. New gameplay mechanics are introduced until the last levels and it plays smoothly on (in my case) a tablet.Gris is an emotional journey through the grieving process of a broken woman trying to find her way back and accept her fate. New gameplay mechanics are introduced until the last levels and it plays smoothly on (in my case) a tablet. In later, larger levels, it took a while to find exactly where you had to go to make progress. This sometimes took you out of the experience. At the end it is an amazing game for a small price.

    Pros:
    - Artstyle
    - Soundtrack/design
    - Smooth Gameplay

    Cons:
    - Lager levels are a maze sometimes

Gris is a breathtakingly beautiful game with an average story and unexciting gameplay. It just feels lost potential.

Art is subjective, but Gris for me has some of the best visuals in a game, playing it on my phone, it felt like I was scrolling through exquisite paintings.

The gameplay on the other hand felt like it was not adding anything. I really think that sometimes it was actually taking me away from the experience.

Overall, GRIS is definitely one of the best games you can play on iOS right now. I adored it when I played it on Switch back in December and replaying it twice has been a joy. I wouldn’t really call GRIS replayable even though you will miss some things on your playthrough. These aren’t really essential because the core story that is a three to four hour long experience feels just right. While I already know how to solve the puzzles so I was just blasting through the game again, I will never tire of the stunning art, animations, and audio design in GRIS. This is easily my favourite iOS port so far this year.

GRIS is a visually arresting experience, but otherwise not particularly memorable.
