    worth it and glad to play ti this game again. so much memories and nostalgia within this second game in the series.

    While not the console version everyone seems to want, this is still a really good game. Don't get me wrong, I wish I could be playing this on my switch instead of my Samsung Galaxy S20, but having played it on my S20, I find the game play super enjoyable. Decided to start my play-through off in a harder mode by playing with 4 monk party, took me just over 18 hours to complete with the onlyWhile not the console version everyone seems to want, this is still a really good game. Don't get me wrong, I wish I could be playing this on my switch instead of my Samsung Galaxy S20, but having played it on my S20, I find the game play super enjoyable. Decided to start my play-through off in a harder mode by playing with 4 monk party, took me just over 18 hours to complete with the only thing missing from my playthrough being Warmech because god damn will it just spawn already.… Expand

    If this is your first experience with the game, I think you’ll find the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster version to be quite a worthy purchase. It feels its age in terms of story and themes, but it remains a solid RPG with some great beats. The results of turning in that particular item to Bahamut still gets me pumped to this day, and the initial sequence leading up to the bridge feels like the perfect way to kick off an adventure. There are better games in the series, to be sure, but the relative simplicity of this installment makes it well-suited for players who can’t devote their full attention to a more complex RPG. It’s a strong update to the original game, and I suspect we’ll be enjoying it for many years to come.
