    A kickabout in the park rather than a Wembley final, but a kickabout with compulsion loops designed to keep you playing until long after you've been called home for tea.

    The company is probably tired of tinkering with what should be a surefire winner, but my personal hope is that EA keeps at it with FIFA, because it hasn’t found the right mobile formula for it yet, and its Maddenization is a step in the wrong direction.

    FIFA Mobile is so focused on social connectivity, in-app purchases and so on than in football itself, so it's hard to enjoy if you just want to play a match.

    FIFA Mobile is all about opening pack of cards, while the real soccer action lies in the background and it’s also pretty disappointing.

    So many fundamental features which made FIFA 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 Mobile enjoyable were taken away. The rest of the game relies solely on paying. It is impossible to gain a top spot on the leaderboard in FIFA Mobile without paying for something.
