There's a bilinear filter applied to the font, which unnecessarily blurs it. Touchstick is slippery for movement. The game is still playable, and if you've never played DQIV and have no interest in the NES version (which is superior to this in ways) this is still worth picking up, just know you're getting the worst version that's ever been on the market. 1. Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen is an entertaining epic. Fifteen bucks might seem steep for a mobile game, but it’s a reasonable price to pay for a fantasy adventure that could end up keeping dedicated RPG fans occupied for weeks or months.

Chapters of the Chosen is still one of the finest entries in the Dragon Quest series. The mobile version is far from perfect, but it's easily one of the best porting Square Enix ever made on a smartphone.

Another outstanding iOS and Android port of one of the best Dragon Quest entries. Fans of the JRPG will rejoice.
