I enjoy it very much. Got to level 60 (3) and have only spent money on the battlepass which I think is worth it. Have come across a few legendary gems without spending money on it. So much to do.

For a mobile game, it's true to the feel of early Diablo titles. The touch controls are actually more efficient than the standard controller configuration. It's ashame that the scores are likely reflective of a unfavorable announcement at BlizzCon 2018. At least for this guy it's one of the better mobile games right now.

    Satisfactory, delivers what it promises.

Graphically he delivers what was expected, mechanically he is the same thing as the other diablo. The plot doesn't innovate much, but there's also nothing to innovate in diablo, it's the usual, beating up on a demon, exploring, picking up some items... some really interesting dialogues, but in the end it's as if we were watching the same thing.

As for the game's controversy regarding monetization, and without wanting to play the devil's advocate, but a game of this level is not cheap at all, monetizing it is natural for the survival of the game's own ecosystem.
Yes the game is clearly Pay to Win, and honestly, what's the problem with that? Several games do the same thing, and it's an absolutely normal practice in the industry.
Doing a "review bomb" just because you don't agree with the game's monetization policy is childish.

It’s a casual version of Diablo for mobile phones and it’s a lot of fun to blast monsters and collect loot. I’m not going to invest a lot of effort on the post-campaign grind but I may continue to play very casually when I need to kill some time on my phone. The game doesn't deserve 10 neither 0. I just want to be fair with the persons who worked hard on it. Indeed, the pay-to-win system is a shame, as a free-to-play player, it make me sick. I don't want to blame developers or their work on that when they just have to deal with what the company board wants. Too many complains were already publish about it so I will not go into it.

Without taking that into account, the game deserve at least 7/10 for a free mobile game. It is fun to play, the graphics are really good for a smartphone game and as usual the lore of Diablo is nice. The combat system is good for a smartphone game, but the leveling system could be better and smother. Overall, a really good game that deserve to be play.

Immortal is a good Diablo game. Kill monsters, get loot, kill more monsters get more loot. Gear your toon up, kill all the monsters. The gameplay is smooth and the characters and monsters are crisp and clear. Want to use your phone as a display? Connect a controller. Want to play on PC? You can do that too. It's Diablo for the mobile platform, and it's good, no denying it.

Its Diablo on your phone, for free. It feels great to play here and there, you can log in for 10-15 minutes at a time and complete a quest, raid, or dungeon. The loot system is great, and the simplified combat still has a lot of depth. Blizzard is the company that all the neck beards on the internet love to hate at the moment. The classes are great and the skills are fun and interesting. I've been loving my Necromancer so far. Itemization is WAY better than it was in Diablo 3.

This game is just stacked with quality content. I can't say anything bad about it. I highly encourage you to purchase the $5.00 battle pass. It's a great deal and you get a ton of extra stuff with it. The game is NOT pay to win. You can reach and participate in ENDGAME content without buying ANYTHING. Again, it's NOT pay to win whatsoever.

To summarize, this is the best Diablo game we've ever had. Period. It's better than Diablo 3 and Diablo 2. And it's obviously better than Diablo 1 (which is a very simple and boring game by today's standards) I can't wait to get back into the game, I'm going to go play it as soon as I'm done writing this review.

Just want to give a big thank you to Blizzard Entertainment and Netease. You've created the greatest action RPG I've ever played. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

If you want to upgrade items quickly, you can buy crafting materials and gems, but can be found normally during the game by completing specific dungeons. After completing the story dungeon, you can also buy a one-time chest with additional rewards. You can purchase a Battle Pass to get more rewards for progressing through the season, but there is also a free version. That's all.

Other things: although the successive locations you visit during the campaign require a specific character level, it is very rare that you need to catch up with a level (usually you already have a sufficiently powerful character). Even so, there are a lot of things to gain in the game: daily quests, journal goals, random dungeons, dungeon challenges. Only once did I have to do a classic monster grind. I wasn't a fan of Diablo, but I have a lot of fun playing it. I have been playing for about 10 hours since yesterday. A friend of mine said this game was basically simplified Diablo 3, but I didn't play it so I don't have a comparison. The PC port is lazy at best, but playable. You just have to get used to clicking the mouse on a typical mobile interface, which at first seems strange and unintuitive, but you can get used to it. There is also full gamepad support. I am not a fan of mobile games or Diablo series or hack&slash in general, but I was really hooked by the game and I will definitely finish the story but I don't know if I will be playing endgame

You’ll get wrecked playing against a p2w player but you’ll be able to get a solid F2P game just doing about everything else. With all that I’m still playing and I’m still F2P so I can’t give it a terrible score, but it loses some points on the micro transactions. Expand

Great game, fun to play. It plays just like a mobile diablo would play. To say that this is a pay to win, is just stupid. In no way do I ever feel that I have to spend money to get further in the game. I'm bothered by the bland story of the world's destruction, which was vehemently influenced by the online nature and spirit of the game or the inability to change the camera. The game looks and runs very well, and you can also adjust the graphics settings on more powerful devices. I'd leave the disdain for the online elements of Diablo Immortal to the eternally doubting and overlooking, because just as you can recognize a good poem, you can recognize a fundamentally good game. To see it submit to mobile gaming's worst tendencies, rather than make any effort to be different, to be better, is galling. It may be flashy and efficient as both a Diablo game and a mobile game, but Immortal offers little that is bold, ambitious or innovative. Instead, its structure and pacing is designed with one goal in mind: to squeeze as much cash out of every player as it can. [Issue#374, p.110]

It is undeniable that Diablo Immortal's monetization system has problems and makes the more advanced stages of the adventure unpleasant, but the fact remains that the Blizzard title has brought one of the best experiences in the action RPG field to the mobile market, and it really is difficult to find on the App Store and Google Play Store another free to play with such high production values. Diablo Immortal is an excellent pastime for those who want to complete the long cooperative campaign and, above all, could represent the perfect entry point for those who have never approached the series: even without putting their wallet in, in fact, it remains a pleasant adventure to live while waiting for the fourth chapter to make its debut on the shelves.
