It really does grow on you, and once you get past the ridiculous premise you end up with a decent poor-mans "Twisted Metal" thats worth the budget price and not much more.
-
It is arena-driving, shoot-em-up action, but the game fails in the department of chills or thrills.
-
It's extremely simple, so don't expect to keep this one spinning into the summer months, but it does manage to fill a gamer's need to race around madly and blow things up.
-
Play MagazineIt's no "Twisted Metal: Black," but you can do worse for $20. [May 2003, p.63]
-
A mediocre average effort, falling short of the mark set by Twisted Metal and its heartier clones.
-
Everything in the game feels extremely rushed and underpolished.
-
No fun to play, no fun to watch, and no fun to listen to.
-
What sucks balls is the fact that only two people can play at a time. That's bull.
