It really does grow on you, and once you get past the ridiculous premise you end up with a decent poor-mans "Twisted Metal" thats worth the budget price and not much more.
-
It is arena-driving, shoot-em-up action, but the game fails in the department of chills or thrills.
-
It's extremely simple, so don't expect to keep this one spinning into the summer months, but it does manage to fill a gamer's need to race around madly and blow things up.
-
What sucks balls is the fact that only two people can play at a time. That's bull.
-
Nintendo PowerThe premise is fun and the play control is good, but the driving physics are so incredibly unrealistic that the game loses its edge once the action begins. [June 2003, p.137]
-
netjakAn audio and visual mess, bottom line.
-
Shameless money grubbing.
