The cel-shaded graphics are crisp and fit this title perfectly. [JPN Import]
-
Bottom line: A three day rental would definitely give you an insight into how much longevity you'll wring out of Naruto: Clash Of Ninja in the long run.
-
Straightforward pick up and play battling with insane Jutsu moves and lots of spirit in tow, this one is sure to entertain every time you boot it up.
-
The frenetic, out-of-control battles take no time to warm up to, but fighting enthusiasts will probably shudder at the game's simplicity.
-
With such a rich source for inspiration, the characters are fantastically realised.
-
While the game offers little to strive for in terms of hidden content or special endings, Clash of Ninja is worthy of continued play in and of itself.
-
A landmark in what some might consider more "casual" fighting games. Not only is it great fun, but it's the best fighting game on GameCube (sorry, Smash Bros is not a traditional fighting game), and one of the best 3D fighters around.
-
Naruto: Clash of Ninja is an engaging, energetic, button-smacking workout--whether you're a Naruto fan or not. [Apr 2006, p.31]
-
It's something of a gateway through which future Naruto games will arrive, once the fandom has a chance to fully develop on this side of the ocean.
-
A great example of how licensed products should be presented. The game plays great, looks exactly like the show, and brings life to the characters in a big way. Naruto addicts should pick this one up for sure.
