    this game is the dumbest peice of crap i've ever seen. To create an element of skill in the game that it would otherwise lack, nintendo put special moves into a game of tennis. this game is boring and i reccomend nobody buy it.

    This game has a great soundtrack, but suffers from being too gimmicky compared to its N64 predecessor.

    Compared to "Virtua Tennis," the undisputed king of the tennis franchises around here, Mario Power Tennis is a bit fuzzier and more forgiving in every respect, but, unless you turn them off, the power shots shift the dynamic in quite a different direction.
