  1. Without the “stealth mode” gameplay, the “Hero Mode,” and the genuinely entertaining voice acting and storyline, Die Hard: Vendetta would have been simply passed off as an average FPS, if not below average.
  2. An enjoyable, challenging, and generally good FPS game. The lack of multiplayer obviously lets it down, but this is still a great shooter.
  3. A pleasant surprise. But the stand-out moments are marred by irritating flaws and often unbearable levels of frustration. [NGC]

A good proof of concept, poor difficulty spike balancing, but I wish it had more love and a remake even.

DO NOT try to play this game, you will feel like it's beatable but instead you'll just waste your time getting stuck or lost or instafailing stealth. Also it seems XBOX version can't be beaten, had to finish it on Gamecube. Full Review »

The uneven difficulty ruins the game from time to time. You can't save during game, so If John is killed, you go back to the beginning of the stage, or to a checkpoint. You should have no problem dispatching the enemies in the game, the auto-aim is probably the most lenient one out there. The shootouts are too easy with the auto-aim, and to hard with the manual-aim, as the crosshair automatically goes back to the centre of the screen. Full Review »
