As well-produced as SpyHunter is on the GBA, it's just not tight in its mission layouts, and the strategy isn't made very clear the first time around the course.
-
Collision detection problems, too dark color palette, and boring objectives are the main problems. However, even a jaded reviewer like myself can find a lot to like with SpyHunter.
-
The missions are not terribly hard, but yet it still makes for a fulfilling experience to complete a mission.
-
It's not badly done action. I only wish it was arranged better. Not in need of more explosions, not utterly boring and certainly not bad-looking; it's just, regrettably, dry.
-
Nintendo PowerRuns like a well-oiled machine. [Sept 2002, p.168]
-
A great-looking game, though the gameplay can start to wear thin pretty quickly.
-
The linear gameplay can get extremely frustrating.
-
It should have stuck to its roots a bit more.
