Naruto fans will really enjoy this game and fortunately the way the game was developed, the rest of us will too.
-
Play MagazineDashing sequences and platforming bits do well to break the monotony, and the character animation is silky smooth. [Nov. 2006, p.104]
-
It includes a worthwhile multiplayer mode, the ability to play as a variety of characters, simple yet solid gameplay, and a good sense of style.

-
The good news is that I had an enjoyable time playing the game even without being very familiar with Naruto, so it stands to reason that real fans will like it even more.
-
A largely unoriginal action/platformer that does little to expand its genre.
-
Nintendo PowerIt's as if the level designers didn't play the game, or at least not enough to realize that the game's mushy response to your button presses doesn't support the level of difficulty at which the jumping and fighting challenges are set. [Dec. 2006, p.113]
-
Ninja Council 2 attempts to focus more on the fighting and less on the exploration, but fails to retain the tight gameplay of the original in the process, making for a game with far more detail and style, better character animations, but a weak overall feel.

DeannaH.Jul 29, 2007It was a fun game while it lasted. It was too short, beat it in 4 hours.
