This a good GBA game, it lets you take the mayhem of GTA with you. It mocks the original GTA2fairly well, expect you cant go on roofs, the different gangs aren't marked clearly, and it seems as though it lost alot of passion, but it still has alittle bit of the magic, after all, they are having to cut stuff so it's on GBA. I would recommend getting it if you liked the original This a good GBA game, it lets you take the mayhem of GTA with you. I would recommend getting it if you liked the original GTA2, but do not get it thinking it's a subsitute. Don't get me wrong, the City is huge, expecially for a GBA game, and there can be alot of action going on at once. I recommend this for GTA Vets. Expand

Not on a great game, but you got to admit its fun to go on rampage. GBA was one of my first systems except for sega and nitendo, and it was fun. The driving and the Timed Missions got me mad but in all it was kind of fun.**Especially fun to Rampage with the Flamethrower while driving the tank, ohh ya, that was fun**

Wow, can't believe the harsh comments! Sure this game isn't GTAIII or Vice City, but it's on a systematic equilvalent to a Super Nintendo!

1.- You have a combination between Tommy Vercetti and Niko Bellic, why do I say this? Simple, Tommy in Vice City was a tough guy who did things without thinking and something similar is with Mike a tough guy who does things without thinking causing more conflict with the mafias, now why do I say that he has something similar with Niko ? If we do not look closely at the story of GTA Advance, Mike, seeing how Vinnie is "murdered", decided to search for the murderer without a doubt, Niko suffered an accident in the war where they killed their comrades in the war and decided to go to Liberty City to find the murderer, do you find this curious? Both shared the same motivation seeking revenge and in the end they ended up being a lie, on the one hand Vinnie betrays Mike to keep the money and on the other Niko sees nothing more than a Darko as a useless person who has nowhere to fall. dead, both games take the same but what varies differently and that for me is splendid.
2.- He is a better protagonist than Claude Speed, here I am going to be a director, Claude killed whoever he wanted if he offered him something for his benefit, he will not show feelings, moreover, he should not even be interested in taking revenge on Catalina, Mike is very but Very different from Claude, Mike never betrayed his bosses, he was always loyal to each one, a clear example is when the Yardies kill Jonnie, Mike not only at that moment decides to seek revenge for Vinnie's "death" but for Jonnie, here we can see a true loyalty will never be carried away by money or anything not, here if they killed a friend of his he would go directly to find out who was the **** who killed him, which to me would seem the sum of points to the protagonist, never betray your ideals.
The story itself for your console is great (in my opinion), it leaves you wondering who was Vinnie's "killer", what will happen next? Can the protagonist get out of this? It gives you that mystery focus that is exquisite, not like the height of GTA IV but that is on a level with it.
    Rating: 9 / 10.
Well created that would be it, greetings.

This is a good game. If we compare it to Sony PS old school GTA games, then maybe looks like a mediocre version, but as it is, is good. I liked the story. The gameplay is awkward and clumsy at best but the action is great. Is great to come back to this classics and enjoy them for what they were.

Surprisingly good take on the GTA formula that's not in the same league as Chinatown Wars, but not as far off as you'd think.

  1. It's just not the Grand Theft Auto experience most people will be gunning for, and certainly not for this price, not a chance in hell.
  2. The missions, characters, expansive city environment, sound and graphics all pull together to create an enjoyable experience. The game is, however, filled with minor flaws, and the camera causes frustration. With a weak story and minor technical faults Grand Theft Auto Advance was never going to be more than just a fun game.

If the story had a bit more humour, if the gameplay wasn't so jerky and the action so hard to control, if the graphics had a little extra polish on them and if the sound wasn't so bad, it may have been a great port.
