A sub-par fighting game whose action plods along with the raging speed of an awards show. [May 2003, p.94]

For the GBA, 'Zilla should have been planned as a no-nonsense 2D beat-'em-up. This just isn't fun. [May 2003, p.63]
  3. 35
The game isn't deep enough to offer anything else more complex than a block-and-return-punch style of combat.
  4. One big, kaiju-sized lump of crap. The monster selection is crap, the gameplay is crap, the audio is crap, but the graphical presentation is fairly good. So, does that sound like a game you would enjoy?
  5. 30
Poor graphics and animations, a tear-jerkingly simple fighting system, painful bonus rounds, and one of the worst end-boss encounters ever put to pixel.
  6. 20
No matter which monster you pick, you're in for a set of eight disappointingly quick battles.

I REALLY like this especially the Japanese version which adds more content in general. I am a HUGE Godzilla fan so I could be biased, but overall. The music slaps, The gameplay is great, and the sprite art is stunning! Ten out of ten Full Review »

The game practically defines stupid fun, whether you're playing it to pass a few hours on a bus or just for the joy of being Godzilla. The game practically defines stupid fun, whether you're playing it to pass a few hours on a bus or just for the joy of being Godzilla. However, if you're playing it for the latter, let it be known that there are much better choices out there. Full Review »
