  1. A dream come true for fans of ‘80’s-style arcade games. If you can put up with the retro graphics and a couple of duds that got thrown in, you'll find a lot of value for your buck.
  2. Recaptures what made gaming so magical when we were younger, simple gameplay combined with very addictive game concepts.

Old-school gamers will love G&W Gallery 4, as will anyone who's up for a pure, simple challenge. [Jan 2003, p.65]
  4. Perhaps it’s not quite worthy of the asking price, but so long as you enjoy at least six or seven of the games (and you most likely will), you’ll be getting enough to keep any gamer happy for a good while.
  5. So simple, yet so addictive. The Nintendo classics haven’t lost their magic touch one bit, and they are still very hard to put down.
  6. Each game is short on substance but long on fun.
  7. Nintendo Power

Packs in six simple, but fun, games for one or two players. [Nov 2002, p.76]

Game & Watch Gallery 4 is a bunch of basic, but challenging, games that are fun when you really have nothing else to do. The modern/classicGame & Watch Gallery 4 is a bunch of basic, but challenging, games that are fun when you really have nothing else to do. The modern/classic game choices were a genius game addition. One of the downsides though is that once the game gets going, it starts getting less and less humanly possible. To unlock everything in this game you would need the reflexes of a supercomputer. Overall, the games are fine little time wasters that you can ever win, but nothing to take seriously as a video game. Full Review »
