Frogger's latest game may not be the same gameplay as the original Frogger but there is no reason to pass this up, the graphics and sound are good as are the controls, and the challenge is hard but fun and rewarding, it's your basic puzzler that will have you coming back for more.

A greatly enjoyable game. It has fantastic controls; moving Frogger from tile to tile is quick and snappy. The enemy and obstacle patterns are quite enjoyable in part due to the great controls and while the game is decently hard the challenge, with the exception of two minor incidents, is always fair and satisfying. The game is an example of a game being simple yet fun. The levels areA greatly enjoyable game. It has fantastic controls; moving Frogger from tile to tile is quick and snappy. The game is an example of a game being simple yet fun. The levels are decently varied too, with several different locations that Frogger will visit throughout five worlds. The game also has bosses, which, except for the forth one, are good. The final boss is especially great. The only major issue with the game is its length, only being about an hour long. Still, that's not too big a deal today as the game can be found for cheap. Expand

The game's a bit on the short side, but the ride to the end is an extremely fun one.
  2. It is the best 2D Frogger out there so far. The gameplay is up-to-date and addictive.

A fun, lighthearted romp that expands on an arcade classic instead of spoiling it. [Spring 2002, p.39]
