It is so good youll find it difficult to put down.
-
The pros (gameplay modes, physics model, single cartridge multiplayer) definitely outweight the cons (bad menu, low-res textures).
-
Simply the pinnacle of portable racing so far. Sure, theres more to come in the genre, but this game is the definition of perfection. Developer Spellbound and publisher Ubi Soft really outdid themselves with this one and it shows.
-
The only thing about these simple controls is that the games response seems too sensitive to each use of the d-pad. Simple, and yet, they still have some gripes.
-
The visuals constitute as the most appealing part of Colin McRae 2.0. Compared to other racers I've seen, the car models in here are a phenomenal improvement.
-
Though hardware limitations prevent the game from packing quite the same punch as its console brethren, Colin McRae Rally 2.0 is still a perfect fit for those with a vested interest in having a little rally action on the go.
-
The repetitive, been there, done that track design bring this racer to a screeching halt. Fun? Yes. Long-lasting entertainment? No.
-
Nintendo PowerThe six-track game lays down plenty of twists and turns, and the spoken warnings from the navigator are a nice, helpful touch. [Oct 2002, p.198]
