Hard-core RPG fans will enjoy the game's nonlinear depth and detail. [Nov 2003, p.152]
  2. Not for the impatient, but is worth the purchase for portable RPG fans. [Dec 2003, p.186]

Incredibly fun and will provide you with about twenty hours worth of gaming. However, Cima does come to an end and once it’s done, it’s done.

The story and the protective guardian concept both work. And developer Neverland did a brilliant job with the game's controls. The ability to do so much with so few buttons is astounding. The game snags when it comes to the clunky and unrealistic movement of the characters.
