  1. I would like to think that I'm a patient person, Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command pushes the limits of doing nothing without any gameplay.
  2. 45
Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command has a few strong features and can, occasionally, be fun, but we're extremely hesitant to recommend it because there are so many mechanical issues at hand.
  3. Visual problems and poor use of the second screen take a toll on the DS port of Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command.
  4. It is a mind-numbing experience that will leave you with a sour taste in your mouth.
  5. The host of technical issues mean that Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command ultimately feels like a bad joke played on anyone who expected it to provide a compelling strategy experience.

A decent military strategy title but it doesn't hold a candle to the Advance Wars games. Full Review »

Otherwise a nice turn-based tactical game and a must-play for Warhammer 40 000 fans, just grab the PSP version if you can. Full Review »

Strictly average. Damage model is simplistic at best and illogical at worst; some weapons are definitely out of balance. DestructibleStrictly average. Damage model is simplistic at best and illogical at worst; some weapons are definitely out of balance. Destructible terrain is a great feature. Graphics are not suited to the DS. Interface is good overall, but don't use the stylus or you'll occasionally make accidental movements when switching units. Make no mistake, this is not WH40k X-Com. If you want a better game of the same exact style, find the old Chaos Gate for the PC. Full Review »
