An enjoyable Star Wars experience that any fan can appreciate on the go. Not only will you get the same story found on the console versions, but you'll also get it packaged with some creative combat and fun minigames.
-
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for DS is a fun, straightforward action game with a unique and enjoyable control scheme.
-
Nintendo PowerThe DS version is certainly not the best way to experience The Force Unleashed, but the story is compelling enough to keep you playing to the end. [Oct 2008, p.87]
-
The enjoyable story, decent combat and overall play mechanics are dragged down by linear level design and a lack of graphical effort, making this title stop just short of being a true force to be reckoned with.
-
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed gives us the opportunity to go over to the dark side in order to enjoy addictive, durable and fun gameplay. It's also a bit monotonous, but nothing out of the ordinary problems of a game which has a passable try in Nintendo DS.
-
The Force feels quite leashed in the DS version of this Star Wars action game.
-
The Dark side of the Force unleashed: unresponsive controls, plain combat, and rudimentary graphics choke an electrifying story.
-
The admittedly cool storyline is wasted on infrequent text windows with motionless character portraits.
