JLMar 25, 2005Just an okay game!!! Graphics where primitive and the game has bad collision detection. Music was just okay and the sound affects were nothing special to talk about. Wished Nintendo included nitro like in Namco's PSP release of Ridge Racer.

TimL.Mar 3, 2005Kind of entertaining, but difficult to play for any length of time due to the small screen and primitive controls. The touch screen is largely useless though I guess they had to do something with it.

BillB.Apr 5, 2005I loved the playstation game but the DS one is awesome.

MaxM.Aug 25, 2005The speed in this game is the best part but the lack of different tracks (only 3 different places), modes, and weak AI oppenents brings this game down. However, you are able to play against 6 friends with one cart.

May 28, 2014How can this game have a lower score than ridge racer 64. ITS THE SAME GAME. But this is handheld so why have it low on this list? Its a cool classic style ridge racer that the fans should play!

#9 Most Discussed DS Game of 2004

The outcome: a lesson in how not to use the touch screen in games. You'll immediately feel like you're in a round of bumper cars as you automatically swerve from side to side. You literally have no control in this manner.

Cheat Code CentralA solid racing game that looks good and sounds fantastic while offering a real challenge!

Some will scoff at the game's seemingly wacky control schemes and twitchy vehicle handling, but those who enjoy arcade racers will likely find something to enjoy here.
