Played as a part of Trilogy 3DS remaster.

I was actually surprised that it's a solid and addictive game. I played it at the same time with new God of War and Phoenix was much more addictive. However, the last episode felt like a bad DLC and spoiled the game for me (hence 7 and not 8 score). +Justice porn. It feels good when murderers get justice delivered and innocent people are

+Justice porn. It feels good when murderers get justice delivered and innocent people are found not guilty.
+Cross-examination is the best part of the game. It's cool to find contradictions. And the court setting is the best.
    +Prosecutors are well-designed and written.
+The difficulty curve feels fair until the last episode (where it brakes down).

-The oversexualized designs of women in the game.
-In general, clue finding parts of the games are slow and boring.
-Character design in the last episode is simply stupid and brakes the game. It feels like Meekins was designed by some other people and Texan guy feels so out of place too.
-The last episode just goes on and on and on. And destroys the closure of the 4th episode. And beats game mechanics to death until they start to feel boring.

A really fun time, but the investigation gameplay could be very confusing and needs tweaking. But the courtroom gameplay.... oh man..... its unlike anything else. So good!

Loved this visual novel, I felt in love with all the characters, just a little bit short

Keeps its legal-eagle fantasy flying much of the time - it's a welcome DS addition. [Nov 2005, p.109]

I can only hope this game does well enough for Capcom to bring the other games in this series to the U.S. [Oct 2005]
  3. The unique cast of characters and entertaining story makes Phoenix Wright worth playing, once. After you've seen all the plot turns and twists the game loses its appeal. [JPN Import]
