Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is better on a non-handheld console, although still a great game on the Nintendo DS. This game does not have all the glitches and flaws like the 1st Original Trilogy did and I give it a solid 8.25 of 10 but to try to get a more appropriate and fair score away from being manipulated DOWN by a bunch of stupid children I rated it a ten. Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is a fun game but nothing truly great. Graphics are okay, and the whole Lego thing makes the game a lot of fun visually. Combat and the occasional puzzles are fun but simple and clearly designed for little children. Replayability is pretty goodLego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is a fun game but nothing truly great. Graphics are okay, and the whole Lego thing makes the game a lot of fun visually. Combat and the occasional puzzles are fun but simple and clearly designed for little children. Hunting for collectibles and unlocking all the characters and other bonus content provides a fair bit of fun. Replayability is pretty good because each stage has a total of 11 different collectibles (10 Lego canisters and one red power brick) to hunt down. Lego Star Wars includes numerous minigames that are unlocked by collecting red power bricks, and a few of these minigames are really fun. All in all, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is a fun but fairly mediocre game that would have gotten a seven. However, I am giving it a ten in an effort to rebalance the user score. Some total a$$hole decided to give six totally useless and childishly written reviews, all accompanied by scores of 0(see reviews by JackB, MadisonC, TessL, JamesH, anonymous, and CameronZ, all posted on September 24, 2008). All these reviews were posted on the same date by users with the same username styles, leaving me with no doubt that they were all posted by the same person, who probably never even played the game and just decided it looked dumb. Also, there is no telling how many bad rating this a$$hole gave the game without writing reviews. As I am writing this review, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga has a user score of 4.8, but know that in reality, consumer reception has been significantly more positive- just how positive it really has been is impossible to say. A$$holes really messed this one up. Expand

This game is not a perfect game by any means, it has bugs and is far worse than the games of the same title on playstation/xbox/wii. One of the most fun games on the DS (don't mistake this for the terrible Lego Star Wars: Original Trilogy). Romping around as General Grievous with 4 light-sabres is so much fun.

We bought the DS version of this game for our 5 year old, since he loves Star Wars (and Lego) and the game is rated PEGI 3. He also loves that you can unlock playable characters and enjoys playing as Darth Maul etc.

He's not the only one who enjoys the game though, as his Daddy I've played the game quite a bit myself and really enjoyed it. I haven't played the console or PC version, so can't compare, but this is a very entertaining game and the DS implementation is very good. Now I just need to earn the 800,000 studs so he can unlock General Grievous...

A fantastic port of the console version of LEGO Star Wars: TCS onto the DS. Obviously sacrifices had to be made (6 console levels removed or combined, minor changes to the levels, 30 FPS instead of 60, downgraded graphics, shortened music tracks, no bounty hunter missions, only 2 characters in a party allowed to be played at a time, bonus levels being replaced with DS-exclusive minigames,A fantastic port of the console version of LEGO Star Wars: TCS onto the DS. The amazing combination of the previous 2 Lego games. This game has a huge amount of content . The huge amount of characters, the great levels, the blasters are fun to use, The game looks great especially for a DS title. The cut scenes are great and entertaining, even if they are simple compared to the console cut scenes.

I'm trying to fix the reviews because of the 6 identical 0's given out. I will do this until the game reaches a 6.5 because that is what the game would be at if their reviews were removed. I believe it deserves more than that but that is the most fair way to do it.

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is an incredible mobile port of the console version, with a great roster, fun level design, tons of replay value, great multiplayer, and fun touch screen minigames.

This game is an example of a decent console port. The only negative is the cut scenes as they look like an old flash animation. The graphics for a Ds game look good. The Lego star wars the complete saga is one of the most brutally violent games I have ever played (in a good way), the Minifigure exploding and the Minifigure parts fly everywhere, it's so funny! I highly recommend playing this game.

Simply the best Lego Star Wars on a Nintendo handheld! Graphics way better as on the GBA, plenty of content even more than the years later released Lego Star Wars III. Super fun game play and multiplayer challenges! You need 20+ hours for 100% completion, but with the much shorter levels in comparison to consoles great to play on a train ride or waiting at the doc. The console version is the more impressive product, but Traveller's Tales handheld team pulled off a vastly improved version of the design for the Nintendo DS.
  2. A brilliant game for Star Wars fans and DS fans alike, The Complete Saga combines childlike simplicity with fiendishly hidden depth, providing an involving experience you'll find difficult to beat.

Built from the ground up by a new developer, the DS has finally got a Lego Star Wars game to be proud of. Whether you're a Star Wars fanatic or DS owner looking for a polished, fun time, you could do a lot worse.
