AceGamezActionloop offers up a good amount of modes for fans of this format - more so than Zuma by far - but the setting really pales in comparison to similar titles out there.
-
Konductra's potential loses some charge in the conversion to kinetic, leaving you with a slower and duller play experience than you'd expect from a lightning-themed game.
-
$30 for a barebones package that doesn't have nearly the addictive qualities or visual panache of other games in its genre is a bit steep.
-
There is definitely something unique going on here, but it doesn’t have that certain hook that a puzzle game needs to pull in the addicts.
-
Konductra can be fun, or frustrating. And while it can be fun for the right reasons, it will be frustrating for the wrong reasons. We’re hoping a sequel can really improve on its premise.
-
The core gameplay of Konductra is solid and somewhat original, and the task mode gives it some life, but the overall implementation is counterintuitive.
-
A good puzzler, but not a great one. The biggest problem is the learning curve. It’s not that steep, but it’s bad enough to leave the player feeling sour after the first couple of plays.
-
Konductra, middling/Interesting concept, sure/ Bad lack of polish.
-
A fun puzzle game for a little while, but after playing for more than a few hours it becomes tedious and tiring.
-
In the end, Konductra just isn't worth the time. With lackluster gameplay and difficult controls, it's not fun for hardcore gamers or those looking for a quick way to waste time, especially at the far-from-bargain price of $30.
