It's pretty good for a quick handheld FPS fix, but to ask anything else of it would be insane.
-
It's creepy, mysterious, and spooky, and while it isn't perfect by any means, it's a horror experience well worth your time.
-
To put it bluntly, Dementium II represents one of the better survival horror experiences on a system not known for its support of the genre.
-
In the end, the question of whether to give Dementium II a shot is a simple one. Do you want to play a survival horror game on the DS? If the answer is yes, this is the best place to go. If not, this is a good game, but not a must-buy.
-
Dementium II spins an interesting, albeit simple, horror narrative on the DS. It's unlike anything else on the hardware and is a perfect example of stylus use done right. It's held back by a few half baked ideas, easy enemies and some questionable sound design, but still delivers a compelling, bite size horror experience.
-
It may not explore much new territory in the horror genre, but what's here is one of the best small-scale chillers that's been turned out in quite a while.
-
Dementium II is a decent game with lots of interesting elements combined with a surprising amount of impressive technology, but sadly it just comes together in a very bland, uninspired way.
-
Dementium II is a great step forward for the FPS genre on the DS. The controls are perfect and the graphics and framerate are spot on.
-
Dementium II is like a high-school cover band doing a Silent Hill tribute show: There's talent behind the work, but it's still incompetent.
