While The ABC Murders does not possess the depth of plot or crisp dialogue of the full-length Christie mysteries published by The Adventure Company (Murder on the Orient Express, Evil Under the Sun, And Then There Were None), it is an impressive opening salvo in what one hopes will be an ongoing series of games on the DS.

    I really was looking forward to the release of Agatha Christie: The ABC Murders. The idea of a detective game using the two displays of the Nintendo DS sounded very promising. Especially as a Christie and Poirot fan. Unfortunately I was very disappointed when it came out. At first glance I expect an engaging murder mystery, but am informed I am to expect something more akin to a seek-and-find game. Then I am given a multitude of math word problems to solve to progress through the story… I'm not playing a video game to learn arithmetic. Full Review »
