  1. So for 20 quid, you're getting a hundred copyright-free books that are a pain to read and some fairly rubbish electronical features. It's not a brilliant deal, especially when you consider there's a similar application for iPhone which is free to download. Unlike what is erroneously claimed by many sources, the books are not pulled from public domain, but from HarperCollins' budget range of "affordable classics" called Collins Classics. Not the best editions available, not nearly as good as Oxford World's Classics for instance, but not royalty-free either, and perfectly fine for the price. Full Review »
