Zombie Panic in Wonderland DX. When one hears a title including zombies, you pray that it's good. When you hear Wonderland, you expect something zany and off-the-wall. In this case, you almost get one and definitely plenty of the other. All of these things make up a pretty good game. However, the few problems lie in having a only single continue and a steep difficulty level. You can gain a good number of lives during each stage, but this game doesn't play around. One continue and you're back to the beginning of the game. The main hero has a small array of weapons at his disposal and a limited number of grenades. Your enemies can pop up from almost anywhere and attack you. Luckily, this is remedied by a simple stroke of the stylus on the touch screen to make a close-range melee attack. If the ability to score more continues were present or if the player gas the ability to adjust the game difficulty to their liking, this would be one of the best games I've ever seen. Expand

Cramming the WiiWare game and more into the smaller system is superbly impressive and the action is just as addictive today as it was a few years back, if not more so now in this new portable format.

Zombie Panic in Wonderland DX is a good game. While there are glaring faults with its difficulty, the game itself is super solid and well put together.

Zombie Panic in Wonderland DX is a well-presented, difficult game with solid gameplay. Unfortunately the experience isn't as lasting or as engaging as perhaps it could be, and given that it's almost identical to its WiiWare predecessor, the audience for this title is small and niche.
