Shifting world is a puzzle that you wont want to figure out.
Part of a puzzle game is ease of use and logical outcomes.
"Shifting" switches keyblocks, stop blocks, inverts the colors and rotates the world. In 3d. Visual strain sets in, and quickly. It isnt good, at all. The premise is easy but predicting where things will shift to becomes tedious with the 'overhyped' shifting mechanic.

There are better, smarter puzzlers out there that wont give you a headache. Skip this one, 2d AND 3d.

Shifting World takes the whole world switching mechanic and breathes fresh air into it, presenting players with some amazing brain-teasing stages. Smart level design, a stylish art style, and plenty of different modes to work through make this puzzle platform title one of the best 'under the radar' Nintendo 3DS games of 2012.

The original's good ideas are distorted in an apparent attempt to justify a price tag. [Nov 2012, p.98]

The simplicity of the web game is lost in this flabby, oversized spin-off. [Nov 2012, p.85]
