CD-ActionOct 17, 2015The recipe for the Warriors games almost hasn’t changed for years. And that’s perfectly fine. [10/2015, p.76]
-
Jul 7, 2015Whilst it may not be as polished as most games on the system, it's definitely worth checking out for anyone craving some hack 'n slash action on their 3DS.
-
Jul 9, 2015Samurai Warriors' return to Nintendo platforms is a welcome one, even if it is a little flawed in places. The combat is as solid as ever, and fans will appreciate the effort and attention that's been put into the personalised story mode.
-
Jul 9, 2015Ultimately, Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 is just okay. While the gameplay and controls are good enough, the story mode itself isn't anything to shout at.
-
Jul 16, 2015Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 bet on a formula that works, but not yet reached its peak in the Nintendo 3DS.
-
Jul 9, 2015While not a terrible Warriors game, I would only suggest this to the hardcore fans with a 3DS, and even then I would wait for a price drop.
-
Jul 7, 2015Bottom-line is, if you’ve been playing games for any length of time, you’ve likely played a game in this series (there are roughly 3,000 of them after all... could be fewer), and you know what to expect. What it may lack in honest-to-goodness personality, it almost makes up for in button-mashing fun, and the satisfaction of that little KO number reaching three or four digits.
