It's clearly not for everyone, but for those who have already dropped hundreds of hours into other dungeons, this one is worth the visit, so definitely jump on in.

It’s strenuous trying to enjoy a game that has four difficulty settings that can all be worked around in the same fashion.

Melee and ranged classes allow some variety of play when death inevitably comes. Graphics are retro and the music is quite good. The only downside is sometimes being one-shoted by foes. When it happens and you're far in the dungeon, seems a little unfair. The 3DS version is much superior to the iOS one, with a map on the lower screen and the buttons allowing for faster gameplay. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is a good game, however it does have some problems, which i will talk about first. First the game is kind of unfair, and the difficulty settings don't really change much, there aren't any rewards for playing on the highest difficulty setting, and the shops are really hard to find some times. The game is procedurally generated which makes it impossible to have multiple playthroughs and know whats ahead of you. The quests are very linear, it's always get this or kill that, there's not a lot of depth. If this game has one great functionality though it's the combat. The combat isn't just great, it flows like a river and is easy to learn but really hard to master. There's no tutorial, so it can be hard for new players to know what to do, and do it well, but this game sure is fun. Expand
