This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I love the story, but I hate the animation. It has a lot of animation errors. The developers don't know how to rig Miis. Mii animations have the worst animations ever. Plus, the dialogue doesn't make any sense (e.g. Mii have trouble with socks though they're not wearing any socks, Mii forgeting to tie their shoelaces though they don't wear any shoelaces). It is very creepy when the Dark Lord steals their face. And this game is rated E for everyone. The game came out in 2016-2017, but why is the animation old and terrible. They wanted to make the game now. They should delete that game, and make a better version of it. It would be called Humantopia. There will be no animation errors. The dialogues will make sense. And the Dark Lord will steal souls. Expand

The Road is so freaking long on the World of Miitopia and I Cannot Believe I used to Like this Game and now this game sucks and I wanted to help the Dark Lord get rid of All of the People's Faces I Would Rather Play Pokemon Alpha Sapphire Instead!

While it does have its flaws of being repetitive, I found myself constantly picking it up every night before bed and just powering through sections at a time because it was just a blast to play. Miitopia isn't going to turn heads, nor grab the hardcore RPGamer crowd, but it's a fun little romp for those who want a much more compact and simple RPG experience.

Player’s impact is limited in Miitopia, as you rather watch the gameplay than participate in it. Despite that the game is never dull, just like similar Tomodachi Life a couple of years ago. The difference is that Tomodachi Life was genuinely funny in an absurd way, whereas Miitopia often made me smile but never caused a burst of laughter. [11/2017, p.52]

I really, *really* enjoyed Miitopia, when I fully expected not to. It’s so self-aware, leading to some fantastic moments in the game. But most of all, it’s an RPG adventure that’s basically tailor made for you. I had a blast exploring Miitopia with my friends, seeing interactions that would never happen in real life, and saving the world from the evil Vook. Even if you think you might not like it, I highly encourage playing the demo. If you enjoyed that, the full game is so much better.
