    Let me explain why I think this particular collection deserves a ten. Having played many different ports/roms/compilations of the Mega Man series, this version wins out for a number of reasons.

    1. The roms used are near perfect, if not perfect copies of the originals. Many people remember the Mega Man Anniversary Collection for PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube. Even though those had Mega Man 7    Let me explain why I think this particular collection deserves a ten. Having played many different ports/roms/compilations of the Mega Man series, this version wins out for a number of reasons.

    1. The roms used are near perfect, if not perfect copies of the originals. Many people remember the Mega Man Anniversary Collection for PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube. Even though those had Mega Man 7 and 8 available (which this version does not) , the collections were plagued with a variety of issues (including lack of controller mapping and overall inaccuracies), which this version remedies.

    2. The extras. Oh man the extras. This version (along with the other versions) has a museum mode, which documents concept art, music, and box designs from all the different versions. There is also the option to switch between which version of the games you play: you can pick either the American Mega Man or the Japanese Rockman roms. That, coupled with the extra challenges that you get only with this version (provided you have the Mega Man Amiibo/paywall) gives this version a slight lead over the others. It is also important to mention that the 3DS versions also get two backgrounds for free with codes provided in the box as well.

    3. Portability. This is the only collection that is currently portable. Of course, there are alternatives (like the PSN versions of the Rockman games on PSP, or the 3DS E-shop versions) but this collection has them all, with extras, for thirty bucks.

    Considering how many versions of these games I have played, I was skeptical that this collection would be as good as it is. I was wrong. This is the best collection to date. The roms look better than the E-shop versions, and considering the price tag, you would be hard pressed to buy a better version. Do yourself a favor and pick this up immediately.    … Expand

    Esta edicion es mejor de lo que yo esperaba , tiene grandes titulos de la saga megaman y es compatible con amiibo , para un coleccionista es lo mejor que mas se puede pedir , ademas si no has jugado megamana tambien es perfecto para ti , para que aprendas sobre los clasicos y tengas nuevas experiencias con un nivel de dificultad muy alto .

    This is a must own for any fan of Mega Man. If you are still an owner of the older 3DS XL I recommend for you to buy it from e-Shop cause its half the price.

    Mega Man's back for another pack of the first six Mega Man games. I don't mind if you're getting it. As long you're only buying it just to remember Mega Man, then I'm fine with it because its gameplay looks solid enough to hold the game one by one.

    a large collection with 6 titles of the great powers Megaman where podrar break the eggs with their difficult it is not difficult today.

    the difficulty of a video game today sucks with this game

    Legacy collection is a great emulation of the first 6 games and it helps let the younger demographic play these classic games. It is cheap, fun and challenging. The game has a great price of $30 and I greatly recommend it.

However, fans will rage on as these games are some of the strongest NES games ever released, and still hold up well with their bright and cute/awesome graphics, and insanely memorable 8-bit hard rock. This game truly feels rewardingly difficult, the game gives you a chance to learn everything and the perfect shooting jumps are super pleasing. If you keep playing through, the gameplay will likely wear thin, as it is pretty repetitive, and the X series was a much needed spin without straying too far off. This is worth a look if you're willing to support Mega Man and play through these games legitimately. Besides the games, the package includes some artwork and advertisements, as well as challenges, although really aren't anything to add to your experience. It's pretty much purely for the sake of supporting the series and being a first-timer to the formula.… Expand

    If you like the classic mega man series, this collection is a worth buy! Saddly Mega Man 8-10 aren't available on 3ds, so that's a shame.

    Great game for a great price. Still keeps the classic Megaman feel. So much concept art and other memorabilia too.

    I have mixed feelings about this one. There are the classic Mega Man games that I know & love, but they perform like crap. FPS stutters in some games, while is silky smooth in others. The sprite lag I can deal with, if it had an option to turn off but it doesn't You're stuck running in NES mode even though the hardware is more than capable than running games without limitations.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It's great, but the fact that only the 1-6 and 7 and 8 are exclusive pre-sale and the 9 and 10 are for DLC, loses some points for me. Some challenges are very easy as killing the Yellow Devil 1. JUST GET HIT AND REMAIN WITHOUT TIGHTENING SELECT UP TO KILLING TIME "RECORD"… Expand

    Being on 3DS kinda felt weird, It's not bad but I just don't know how to play a mega man game.

    It’s not bad, but I would much rather play something besides this game. The games are too challenging to be any fun and it takes a long time to get good at the game, which comes with very little of a reward.

    Mega Man Legacy Collection is an invitation to explore the first six Mega Man games and it succeeds at striking a chord both with longtime Mega Man fans and with those less familiar with the series. As good as this compilation is, it could only be improved by fixing frame rate drops in certain busy areas and with more content, especially more games of the Mega Man series which could have easily been included in this title.
