    The game itself isn't bad, but it's not a stellar one either. For every thing done right, another thing is done wrong. Being the first game since the first Winter Olympics game to introduce new characters, the cast of playable characters is great. The story mode is easy to play and is pretty okay to play through, but it is pretty short and most of the time it feels like you aren't progressing through a plot, it feels like your just there to play events. It makes you forget that there even is a plot going on sometimes. Overall, I would say that this game is pretty much just like the other handheld installments; it's not the greatest game out there, but it is playable and can be enjoyable at times.… Expand

    This is a good game. Not the Best in the M&S Series but still great. The graphics are outstanding for the 3DS. I still have not yet played all the Events/Sports in the Game but my favourites are Boxing, Football (Soccer), BMX, and a few more. The character selection though, is what messes up this game. Contenders? Are you serious? That is the only thing that ruins the game. Road to Rio isThis is a good game. Not the Best in the M&S Series but still great. The graphics are outstanding for the 3DS. I got A LOOOOOOOT of steps when I was visiting my Family in Tokyo because I would take my 3DS Everywhere, Tokyo is where I walk a lot. Whenever I'm out in the streets, or taking pictures or videos of trains, I win stuff at the same time. The costumes and outfits look amazing, although my Mii can't fit most of them, I just bought them anyway because they looked cool especially the Koopalings! Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (M&S Rio 2016) is a good game and I would recommend it. Really fun. Although I do wish Soccer was a little faster, I've been playing quite a bit of Super Mario Strikers on the GameCube as well, so sometimes I do mess up but that is okay. I tend to score anyway.… Expand

    **** stupid I can't **** play it on easy it was a waste of money and time I got mad and killed my dog and now I have animal cruelty charges because of this stupid **** game do not buy it.

    This is a really simple game with a lot of variety, not all the mini games are fun but I got enjoyment out of most of them. If you didn't like the other Mario and Sonic games you probably won't like this one either.

    this game goes in brazil, i am a **** brazilian, and 1 yerd ago Nintendo abandoned my country and now the nintendo makes a game in my country, the game not is in portuguese language, the official brazilian language. it is an offense. i know, latin america have most contry speak spanhis than portugues, but...     By far the best game in the Mario and Sonic series. Fun mini games, tight controls, and excellent graphics are only the beginning of how this is the best one.

    A great game of mixes of sega and nintendo but release it too early. it is as good as the 2012 london olympics game! We all know we can thank Nintendo for 2 things- 1 saving Sega and 2 LETTING THEM INTO THIS AMAZING GAME. This is absaloutley the best mario/sonic game yet

    The 3ds one is clunky and no fun at all. I like the series on a system not a handheld just like Mario Party. I don't want mario party on a handheld cause of limited controls and graphics. This version has okay gameplay and mediocre graphics.

    I and my 7yr old son thoroughly enjoyed the game. The visuals, music and gameplay are absolute delight and unique. Would have loved more motion control and nunchuck if they were provided to bring about off couch play style like WiiFit Resort. Loved the duration of games. Albeit definitely engaging and fun.
    Both Maio and Sonic bring together the best of the theme. Probably the best of    I and my 7yr old son thoroughly enjoyed the game.     this game is brilliant my favourite part is when shadow swears i was playing it came out of nowhere it was hiliarous i also like the other parts souch as the events and the walk step whatever its called

    Has an okay story mode with okay games, but it’s still the same formulaic game and the Dream Events are still absent

    This game is not bad as it okay for a game for the Olympic games series not much to say apart from it is good that they added a story mode. Overall I would recommend this if you like the series.

    It's the WiiU game but slightly worse-looking and portable. It's nice. I guess.
