This is the first Mario Party game I can enjoy all the way through WITHOUT friends. With friends it's an absolute blast and everyone moving at the same time makes the games move quicker, skipping the time of boredom, waiting for others to move. With so many new modes there is a lot of variety here too. The best Mario Party by far, I think.

This is officially my favorite "Mario Party" game of all time! Every player moves at the same time around a 3D board, collecting a colorful cast of characters of the Mushroom Kingdom to battle fierce bosses and take back the Stars!

The game moves pretty fast, great for anyone who's got 10 minutes to kill. The tutorials are really short, sweet and to the point, the party also moves at a fast pace, not requiring anyone to simply sit and watch CPUs do their work. You're always going to be doing something!

The other game modes can be pretty fun, but not as much as the main mode. Coinathlon and Balloon Bash can be decent. Boo's Block Party is okay. But Mario Shuffle is boring and Challenge Tower is infuriating. However, the main mode towers over all, and those other modes can be easily ignored. There's always something to do in the game and so many things to collect.

The minigame selection however is a bit of a downer. Their isn't very many and of those few, only a handful of them are actually enjoyable. But the game makes up for it by putting in incredible bosses you can love to fight over and over again. Overall, this is the best "Mario Party" in the series and I love it!

This game seems to get a lot of medicore scores, but I think it's pretty good and worth buying if you like Mario Party games.
    Pros:
-Minigames are fun, and theres a lot of them -5 difficulty settings -Lots of different modes, all playable with up to 3 other friends with 3DS's (not more than 1 cartridge needed) -Unlockables, including Diddy Kong, stages, and modes. -Everyone rolls

-Everyone rolls their dice at the same time, making it faster paced and a game of predicting how other players are going to move
-Progressive single player missions to unlock more stuff|
-Balloon Rush mode is like mini-games every other turn, my biggest peeve with previous Mario Party games were playing boards and only going through like 3 minigames
    -Amiibo support
    Cons:
-Maps don't have as many happenings '?'/event spaces as previous games
-Players have to download an app called "Party Guest" on the eshop to get the best experience. It's free, but just an extra step, not a huge con but listing anyway

People should check out Mario Party Star Rush. As Mario Party continues to grow, the series will be receiving more installments such as Mario Party 11, Mario Party 12, etc. 2017's E3 might see an announcement of Mario's eleventh party outing for consoles, and the first for the upcoming Nintendo Switch! If you have played all of Star Rush, get ready because Mario Party 11 might be coming your way!

This game is better than a lot of the other ones. The game modes are fun and easy to play. Even though some are challenging. I would like to see more games like this.

As a fan of the Mario Party series, I loved everything about the games except one thing, Waiting your turn to roll the dice. But in Mario Party Star Rush you all go at the same time! 9 out of 10!

I really liked this game, the gameplay moves fast and doesn’t get boring. The 3d effect is nice and the minigames were great as well. The character selection is stellar and the board’s are fun. It's surprising to see how well-made the game is.

Mario Party has a lot of upside downs, some games are genuinely entertaining while others are either repetitive compared to the predecessors or a bunch of failed experiments. Star Rush tried to bring up a new formula for the series and it works surprisingly well. Toad Scramble is a fun individual play where you collect Mario characters to fight for stars, in addition to that there's plenty of side modes that offer so much content to entertain you for a long while.

The only downsides of this game is the lack of new mini games compared to its predecessors (there's around 60 compared to the 80/85 of the other games), everything else is well-crafted.

Easily the most underrated Mario party game. Wish people didn’t see it as a spinoff cause it expands on the world so much. Maybe Nintendo is to blame for putting it on 3ds but hey it works wonders on it. The last truly great mario party game in my opinion.

Mario Party: Star Rush is a tight collection of mini games which are fun even in single player. It’s just too bad that the main modes which encapsulate them aren’t entertaining at all. If you can overlook the grind, then it’s worth playing for the mini games. If you can’t, I’d look for a party elsewhere.

Mario Party Star Rush gets rid of a few bad ideas from the previous games in the series, but it just doesn’t have the staying power to keep players come back for more week after week.

Mario does not need to feel ashamed for the standard of its gaming parties. It fully entertains in the beginning, highlight occurs when everyone is on a scene, and only in very late hours the fun fades and fatigue appears.
