CD-ActionJan 13, 2017You can expect a lot of charming dialogue, easy puzzles, amazing soundtrack and satisfying combat. Unfortunately you will be forced to battle not only your enemies but also terrible camera. [01/2017, p.75]

Oct 28, 2016Clocking around 25 hours in length for one playthrough, Gurumin is a sweet romp through a colorful world that doesn't overstay its welcome. While you wont find deep gameplay or a complex narrative, Gurumin is worth checking out for its wonderful charm and satisfying yet simple combat system.

Oct 27, 2016Gurumin 3D does what it needs to, and does it well. A charming throwback in form and function to classic PS1 RPGs, this re-release is a fun romp down memory lane.

Oct 18, 2016Gurumin 3D may be short on epic story and have a few technical blemishes around the edges of its gameplay, but its fun style and a surprising depth in collectibles and replayability make it well worthy of consideration for action-RPG fans. Did we mention there's a pretty sweet drill?

Oct 14, 2016Gurumin not only offers a great challenge, but makes players want to go back and find every last hidden secret and collectible. The graphics, sound and music all look and sound great on the 3DS. If there is even the tiniest bit of interest in Gurumin, it is absolutely worth picking up.

Nov 17, 2016Fun and simplistic action-RPG that is 10 years old, but it's still capable of offering a ton of hours of enjoyment.

Oct 17, 2016It’s hard to deny that Gurumin has some technical problems, but there’s a lot of charm under the surface. It’s fun to rebuild the town piece by piece and see more of the map unlock as the prince’s evil mist dissipates. Here’s hoping we can drill into some more Falcom games on the 3DS soon.

Jan 23, 2017Gurumin 3D: A Monstrous Adventure does not aim to reinvent the wheel and it certainly couldn't aspire to that with its struggling camera and often imprecise jumping, which make the experience more time-consuming than it should, but this doesn't erase an accessible plot and long-lasting gameplay, once the game's dynamics set in.
-
Nov 13, 2016This is a silly story with goofy characters that had some effort to flesh out their lives to make people care about them and the world. While it may not take much to hit bedrock with this shallow game, it does have heart, which is more than what most games have.
-
Nov 9, 2016On a platform where there are too many great RPGs to fit on your radar, there are plenty of reasons why Gurumin shouldn't be one of them.
