This isn't a good show. In fact, it is completely ridiculous and absurd but... it was an absurdly fun ride. Well, it was an absurdly fun ride, that is up until season 5, when it got itself cancelled.

How did this fun ride manage to getThis isn't a good show. In fact, it is completely ridiculous and absurd but... it was an absurdly fun ride. Well, it was an absurdly fun ride, that is up until season 5, when it got itself cancelled.

How did this fun ride manage to get itself cancelled? Well, season 5 was when the gender politics of Hollywood turned it into female empowerment gibberish. They made all of the males weak, irritating and whiny henchmen while simultaneously replacing every significant role with a strong and brave female: the hero, the leader, the scientist, the villain, the computer expert and the moral support.

Well, actually, they replaced the male computer expert, which was a hacker the NSA specifically recruited, back in season 4 with a nomadic female eskimo. They kept the male in, but apparently the nomadic female eskimo was just way more intelligent... Despite this however, it was still a fun ride - marginally less, but the fun was still there.

But with season 5 - they went too far with their illogical empowerment - and got itself cancelled.… Expand
