It is an amazing comedy and it has great actress and actors. This show is great for Emily Osment because she won't just be known as the girl from Hannah Montana. This is a BIG step for her. This show is really better than Mystery Girls. :) I wish this show was an hour long. I just can't get enough of the laughter of the show. Directors, keep up the good work. Hilarious and edgy! It's high energy and fun. The entire cast is funny and compliments each other nicely. It's a gem in the ABC Family line up. It's cute and just an overall enjoyable experience.

Emily Osment shows that she can lead a comedy with a great timing. The series is a brand new bunch of fresh air to the comedy scene, with good scenes, awesome script and great sideckicks characters.

This show is HILARIOUS! I love the whole cast, and I also really enjoy the fact that it is not ridiculously crude; I don't feel guilty about watching this show with my young niece in the room. I can't WAIT for second season.

I LOVE this show!! Emily Osment has that 'star quality' that makes the show work; she's adorable and her character is adorable. The other characters are also funny and well cast. If there is a weak link, I would have to say that it is Josh. People that negatively review the show need to understand that it's a SITCOM. It's important to understand what this show is and what it is not. You wouldn't go into a Will Ferrell or Adam Sandler movie expecting a highly intelligent comedy, right? However, that doesn't mean that there isn't a place for their movies, right? The same could be said about this show. Young & Hungry is NOT highbrow comedy and it is not particularly intelligent. It IS a funny show that is not particularly raunchy (although I still would not allow my 11 year old to watch it). The characters are all stereotypically over the top, but that is what makes them humorous. Are you going to have some spiritual experience watching the show? No. Are you going to learn some life lesson? Probably not. I love intelligent television shows just as much as the next person, but there is also a place for TV that lets your brain rest and doesn't require some high level of thinking to enjoy. This show is there to allow you to escape and 'veg out' for half an hour.

Another reviewer stated that the show was obviously meant for a younger audience, but I am 36 and I truly enjoy this show. It is, without question, my favorite new show and I look forward to watching it every week. In a world where TV shows seem all the same: reality TV, crime shows, raunchy comedies, et al., this show feels new and different.

As I said, there is just something about Emily Osment that makes the show work. My son loved Hannah Montana, but IMO, there was nothing special about Emily or her character on that show. She has obviously matured and her acting ability has matured as well. This show is perfect for her -- she really shines. I even got my BF to watch the show with me and he HATES TV.

If you are looking for a show that allows you to escape your problems for a little while and makes you laugh along the way, give Young & Hungry a try. If you know what to expect when you go into the show, I am confident that you won't be disappointed.

Well, I love Emily so I may be biased.

It's funny. Other reviews on other sites seem to say that it is not the breakthrough comedy of the year. Well. it's not. But it is the only show I've seen in a while where I actually laughed. You watch a show like this to see the characters develop. We know a little about Gabi. Josh, Sophia and Caroline and we will learn more. I want to see how

You watch a show like this to laugh or chuckle (your choice) I watch a TV show and I want to feel good afterwards, not depressed. I want it light.

And Emily does a fine job with the character.

Young & Hungry is nicely paced, and even in the first episode, the humor is character-driven. It's as uncomplicated, and tasty, as a good grilled cheese.

A more than occasionally funny show in which Gabi (Emily Osment), an appealing but financially challenged food blogger, becomes personal chef to Josh (Jonathan Sadowski), an appealing but romantically challenged tech-ionaire.

Everything in Young & Hungry is predictable, including most of the jokes.
