Summary: Ingrid is blindsided when the Count nominates a vampire named George Lansley to compete with her for the spot vacated by Adze on the Vampire High Council. Ingrid makes a startling discovery by following Lansley and uses it to her advantage. Meanwhile, the Count and Malik plot the death of Mr Bertolini, attempting to make it look like an accident.
