Summary: They are mutants, genetically gifted human beings - the world's newest and most persecuted minority group. Amidst an increasing climate of fear and bigotry, one enlightened individual, Professor Charles Xavier, has created a safe haven for some of these powerful outcasts. Here's a list of the team members, and their mutant powers:

Cyclops:
Team leader. Stores solar energy for discharge as powerful force beams fire from his eyes.

Professor X:
Founder of the X-Men. Telepathic abilities. Can read minds and project thoughts.

Jean Grey:
Able to move objects with telekinetic energy. Limited telepathic abilities.
Gambit:
Can charge objects with explosive charges of kinetic energy. Costume is body armor.

Storm:
Ability to control and manipulate the forces of nature.

Beast:
Extraordinary agility and superhuman strength.

Rogue:
Has ability to absorb energy from other living beings, also has power of flight and is indestructible.

Wolverine:
Heightened senses and accelerated healing ability. Implanted indestructible adamantium skeleton and claws.

Jubilee:
Pyrotechnics akin to fireworks.

X-Men originally aired on the Fox Kids Network, the Monday-Saturday children's programming block of the Fox Network. After finishing its run, repeats aired in syndication in the Fall of 1997, then on the UPN Kids block in the Fall of 1998. A return to Fox Kids came in the Summer of 2000, in time for the X-Men feature film. In late 2001, Disney bought Saban Entertainment and gained ownership of this show, along with many others. As such, X-Men has since aired on ABC Family and Toon Disney's JETIX block.… Expand

I have only watched season one of this show. I am not usually a fan of super heroes or comics but the story lines are heavy and plot lines intense. I really enjoy the morale tales of not fearing what you don't understand and viewing matters from another point of view.

The animation was a bit poor and choppy though the sound was very good and the actors did well. There are five seasons in the series and all of them have been transferred to the screen. The subjects in the chapters were very short and unambiguous, so many of the chapters did not bother you.The animation was a bit poor and choppy though the sound was very good and the actors did well. There are five seasons in the series and all of them have been transferred to the screen. The subjects in the chapters were very short and unambiguous, so many of the chapters did not bother you. In the same way, the special powers of the characters are very plain and very clear. The characters in the series, 9 characters from Wolverine, Storm, Jean Gray, Jubilee, Beast, Professor X. Rogue, Gambit, Cyclops- have been given a very nice story by giving the story of each of the characters, so they have developed the infrastructure of the characters so well . The characters are very nicely placed into humor. I really liked the relationship of the team with each other, especially the relationship between Rogue and Gambit. '' Phoenix Saga '' '' The Dark Phoenix '' '' Days of Future Past '' There are many episodes that have a very nice story, such as the episodes, it was very nice to take time to such departments. The fighting scenes were good but don't expect too much of anything because the animation was shaky and inconsistent. Although the animation was bad, the drawings were really nice. Defects are acceptable though.
