The martial-arts fantasy series features some of the most dazzlingly impressive fists-and-feet throwdowns you’ll see on a screen this year, big or small. ... The show is put together well. There are some really great actors in play. The story is decent. There could be more character development but they built everything up so quickly that it would not have been feasible. That being said, the fast build up led to some pretty cool scenes. The martial arts are very good. Mark Dacascos plays a fantastic monk (I randomly met him once in a flea market in Beijing...hes a pretty cool guy as well). I highly recommend this show to anyone who is remotely interested. It is much more complex and satisfying than you would expect for this genre. You will not be disappointed!… Expand

Nice actions scenes, but it has too much actions scenes, enough is enough. The acting is lacking and not convincing (especially the magic girl). Further a unconvincing story and thin characters. I gave it a 4 because i couldnt finish the first season, it became too painfull. Sometimes iNice actions scenes, but it has too much actions scenes, enough is enough. Poor writing and acting. Katheryn Winnick was the only reasons I watched a few more episodes than I should have.

A magic girl appeared, told the chef to kill bad people, he did it with style in some really excellent combat scenes.

Despite the action scenes, Wu Assassins is a worst series I've watched on Netflix. Iko Uwais's protagonist feels dead inside -- a boring, flat character. The endingA magic girl appeared, told the chef to kill bad people, he did it with style in some really excellent combat scenes.
