    Television's a visual medium, but so much of the plot is advanced during dialogue, I actually lost track a few times and ended up rewatching sections of the episode to figure out how they'd figured out whodunit.

    Everything other than Harmon, who has thrown her "Law & Order" reserve out the window, feels unnatural and contrived.

    The new debut episode climaxes with a confusingly written yet completely unoriginal plot twist at the end. And the women characters are less confident than before, frazzled and more judgmental.

    This show had so much potential that it disappoints me to this day that it didn't get more episodes. The casting was incredibly perfect and the show had a lot of opportunities to develop interesting storylines. I wanted more time to develop a connection with each character and see what sort of mysteries would come from the series. Although it was not by any means a faithful adaptation from what I remember of the series it is worth checking out as a stand alone. However, it is a pity they decided to end it with a cliffhanger that will never see completion.… Full Review »
