Anyone wasting the precious Time of Their Lives on inanity like this - really really needs to get a life and get a grip - the country slid into decadent hell 15 years ago - and that's funny? ask all the children on antidepressants.

The bad points outweigh the good. I started out liking the show and then the stupidity began. Kevin Nealon is a funny guy but I just think he is a little too much of a "Whoa, parrty" thing happening. It gets old. I am about to lose my mind at how laid back of a mother she is. Who wants to hear about a 12 year old getting "favors"? That is just sad! It has it's moments but seriously! The bad points outweigh the good. Nancy will screw anyone that is in her way, the kids are just as freaking loose. Nancy is also really bad at being bad-ass. It's stupid. Makes my brain hurt. Expand

This show sucks. I rented the DVD set b/c the premise sounded unique but it was dead boring (ie - L Word). I find that most showtime shows are just trying to be like HBO shows but fall way flat. This is no exception. If you get the premise of the show - suburban California mom selling weed then you know all you need to know. No matter how stoned you are this show will still bore you. i have watched several episodes of this show just to be really disappointed and kinda irritated at how lame the premise of the show is. yes i understand it is fictional but, the way things happen involving her "drug dealing" is just.... as unrealalistic as it could possibly be, if you like the show for all the other stuff besides her "drug dealing" sure i guess its a ok show but if the i have watched several episodes of this show just to be really disappointed and kinda irritated at how lame the premise of the show is. yes i understand it is fictional but, the way things happen involving her "drug dealing" is just.... as unrealalistic as it could possibly be, if you like the show for all the other stuff besides her "drug dealing" sure i guess its a ok show but if the main premise being atleast somewhat realalistic matters to you.. i would not waste any time watching this show. In better moments, "Weeds" proves small kerflops can be made interesting and fun to watch. In lesser moments, not so.
  2. "Weeds" is colossally great... a series far better than its premise and utterly essential for devotees of smart, entertaining television.

There's enough to enjoy in Weeds that you could get a contact high just by tuning in.
