    The premiere hour balances perspectives pretty well--no loopy hippies, no redneck cops, no (apparently) cutthroat gangsters.

    Most of Weed Country is quite good, but when it comes to Mike Boutin, the producers made the bad decision to make it all more dramatic than it actually is.

    Weed Country makes it clear there’s still a lot of Wild West in the marijuana biz--and a whole lot of conversation needed to sort it out.

    I watch it sometimes.. But even though they say its not a scam and show it to be as if its real and not fake, i think it still is a fraud.I watch it sometimes.. But even though they say its not a scam and show it to be as if its real and not fake, i think it still is a fraud. Things like this or the moonshiners show kinda looks fake. But still, it seems interesting. I think what their doing is a good thing however. They bring a healing treatment to those that need it to heal themselves witch i think is a good thing.… Full Review »

Mike Boutin is a certified nutjob who moved to his wife's old neighborhood after years as a hippie-hating redneck logger/trucker where he rents 9 acres and plays a pot grower on TV His wife and whoever they con off Facebook to come live in sub-standard housing actually grow and process the pot. These people do NOT represent the Emerald Triangle or the cannabis movement although I'm sure they're quite entertaining to folks who like Jerry Springer or Judge Judy.… Full Review »
