Jun 14, 2016Five humans crawl into the heads of five giant metal lions, who then combine to form a massive glittering robot that repeatedly saves the universe. That idea isn't for everybody. If the idea is for you, you will love this show. It's fun and legitimately hilarious.

Feb 18, 2018This show was so great. It has all that is needed to catch an audience's attention and keep them interested for the entire season. I definitely recommend.

Jul 10, 2016Tries to stay faithful to the original, while bringing this franchise to a new audience.
I grew up watching the original, but never cared much for it. This iteration though has made me a fan.
Its fun, charming and funny
Only gripe I have is the first season climax felt shoe horned in.
There's a lot more story to tell here, its just not a lot of it was told. -

Jul 23, 2016The last reboot was pretty good, definitely watchable and really fun voice acting, characters, so I was worried this one wouldn't be as good, but surprisingly- IT's BETTER. I mean, definitely on par with something like Young Justice or The Thundercats reboot (which it's **** CRIMINAL did not get a second season, hey netflix, why don't you reboot that too!)

Jan 21, 2018This is a joke right? They are humiliating the Jap anime. This is so embarrassing to watch. Why does everything have to be humor in it!? This is not like Rick and Morty serie. It is supposed to be a ANIME remake. Not a joke!

The series succeeds as an action cartoon for kids, but there’s not much here for adults who don’t have a nostalgic attachment to the original series.
-
Voltron Legendary Defender is a worthy successor to the original series that stays true to its roots, though its ambition is tempered by its adherence to tradition.

Is it good? Sure it is. Does it better its predecessor? Your cherished memories aside, that is a bar set low. So, yes, it does better them--by quite a lot and, at the same time significantly, not by too much. That is to say, for all its improvements in form and content, it has not sacrificed fundamental candy-colored cheesiness for fashionable dark modernity.
