An excessively slow season. The conflict never seems to be clear and when the time comes it seems to speed things up in order to get a more dramatic momentum like the death of Athelstan.

The last 3 episodes are the ones that save it from becoming the worst season.

Best season until now. Photography, fight scenes, Special Effects, everything was improved since last season. I recommend to everyone who want to see a series with action and remarkable story.

This is one of my favorite shows in a long time. I like almost all the characters and interactions. Lots of action and tells a good story. I highly recommend.

From the first season I was hooked!
I don't have the patience for weak characters on a episode much less an entire season. Everyone has their own strengths, respectively.
What the issues are make a lot of sense if you believe in the twisted, sacrificial practices of the Vikings.

Since the start of Vikings i thought that it would be an awesome show of keep seeing. I usually don't care for history drama, I'm more of a GoT fan but I appreciate the work that went into the writing and the production of this season. I can recommend it!

This show gets better and better as it goes on. It's one of the few shows where there's no filler to skip through. Season 3 is epic in every sense. This is becoming a must see show.

Since the start of Vikings i thought that it would be an awesome show of keep seeing... Now at the third season I know that i was right! Only the first episode made me want to see more and more! With a lot of good actors and an amazing scenery I would bet everything I have that this is going to be an huge success
And I just don't give one 10 now... Because I want more

"King Ecbert" also leaves an indelible character and is the England's Kingpin. The finest performance that will make you wonder how a woman handles all the stresses of the harsh life in battle and in the Northern hood is brought to you by Katheryn Winnick. Just watch her and you'll know right away what you've been missing for so long with a character that has major life challenges! The clashes of religion, sex, warfare, and even the role of women in battle, running the farm or taking care of family is very well done. The writing is very taut and the upcoming battles never take 3 or 4 episodes before they happen. Each episode delivers. Speaking of the battles, Vikings creates scenes that remind me of Game of Thrones, Gladiator, and Lord of the Rings. Very well thought out and more importantly they are based on historic fact. The whole show is well on the path to being enshrined in Emmys...just wait and see. Expand

Vikings had me hooked since day 1. But the last season didn't really bring the same quality out as the first two seasons. The show seems to be loosing its unpredictable quality.
Actors are still doing a great job. The special effects are as always great. Not a 10 this time but a 8+

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The first and second seasons were exceptional and the third is better in every way. The show has really matured and by now we know enough about the characters to start forming emotional bonds. So expect too have those bonds broken as we expect to see some really intense GOT style scenes that are sure to leave you on the edge of your seats. Expand

I loved this shows first two seasons, but they really upped the ante with the third season. Once again the show gives us terrfific cast performances(Travis Fimmel as Ragnar continues to be the highlight of the series), and amazing storytelling.

    The best show on TV!

Honestly, it's brilliant. LOVE the characters, the progression, the plots, the acting, the scenery. It's the best show out there.

I loved seasons 1-2 but season 3 just didn't seem to appeal to me. It didn't have that rough feeling and sometimes even felt kind of cheesy. Alot of unecessary details, and sometimes it was even painful to watch.

This is another great season of Vikings. Some epic moments with Ragnar. His legend grows and Bjorn is good in this season too. This is a must watch once again.

still good but stuttering more until we get to Paris. The plot seems to be slowing down and unsure where to go.

Hirst transports us to a fascinating and brutal world, combining fact with fast-paced fiction into a show, the likes of which come around all too infrequently. As Ragnar does, so too does Season Three of Vikings expand its worldview beyond the inlet at Kattegat and into Medieval Europe, promising battles, glory, and adventures not to be missed.

Michael Hirst's saga of pillaging and migration remains everything it has been almost from its premiere.

Here is a series for an American audience that grants us the intelligence to be able to read subtitles, which are deployed to help convey the tart flavor of the various tongues spoken in the show. Combine this with the show’s frequently lovely visuals, and Vikings remains the kind of burly soap opera that appeals to an ever-wider audience.
